Nature Based Eco Therapy at
The Pines Sanctuary
Connecting with nature can offer a sense of grounding, spaciousness and clarity that is often difficult to access in fast-paced or urban environments. Many people find that being in natural surroundings allows them to slow down, tune into themselves and reflect in ways that feel more easeful and intuitive.
Therapeutic work outdoors can gently support reconnection with the body, the senses and the present moment. The rhythms of the natural world like light, movement, sound and stillness can create a backdrop for exploring thoughts, emotions and experiences at a steady and comfortable pace.
At The Pines Sanctuary, located in Martinsville, NSW and surrounded by the scenic Watagans, I offer the option of engaging in therapy within a natural environment. Clients may choose outdoor sessions when weather and comfort permit, such as walking along the garden paths, sitting beneath the trees or spending time in spaces that encourage reflection and presence. Many people appreciate the natural landscape as part of their therapeutic process.
Indoor sessions take place in a simple garden studio equipped for expressive and creative work, including art materials, symbol work and dream-focused approaches. This setting allows flexibility to work in ways that feel grounded, embodied and meaningful. Nature based sessions aren't automatically the right fit for everyone or every stage of therapy. Whether it suits you depends on what you're working through and how comfortable the space feels for that work. Telehealth via zoom is the other option and some people like to do a mix of both.
Located approximately 10 minutes from Cooranbong and 15 minutes from the Morisset M1 exit. The address and directions are provided once an appointment is confirmed. If you are interested in exploring therapy in a natural setting, you are welcome to reach out through the contact form for further information or to arrange a session.
